The Green Bank has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified contractors to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for solar photovoltaic (PV) installations at nine Affordable Multifamily Housing (AMFH) sites in Connecticut. The initiative, part of the Green Bank’s Solar Marketplace Assistance Program (Solar MAP), aims to install a total of 2 megawatts (MWdc) of solar capacity.
The selected projects include seven rooftop installations and two hybrid carport systems, spread across Cheshire, Hamden, Storrs, Tolland, New Haven, and West Hartford. Detailed evaluations of each site and project-specific exhibits are included in the solicitation.
The RFP also seeks optional secondary pricing to align with federal Greenhouse Gas Reduction Funds (GGRF) requirements, including compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act, Davis-Bacon, and Related Acts. Federal compliance will be a priority funding area, and an informational webinar on these requirements will be held on December 13, 2024.
Interested parties can visit the sites on December 9 and 10, 2024, and must submit proposals by January 13, 2025. Full details and registration links are available on the Green Bank’s website.
