The program aims to promote equitable access to commercial-scale solar systems, fostering partnerships with minority-, veteran-, and disability-owned companies to ensure lasting community impact.

With a $5 million budget, the FY25 Commercial Solar Program offers enhanced incentives specifically for nonprofit organizations, Small Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, as well as Veteran- and Disabled Veteran-owned businesses. The program aims to promote equitable access to commercial-scale solar systems, fostering partnerships with minority-, veteran-, and disability-owned companies to ensure lasting community impact.

Grants are also available for businesses and organizations with significant energy demands that would benefit from larger solar installations, reducing energy expenses while supporting sustainable operations. Applications for the program are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until 3:00 p.m. ET on March 31, 2025, or until funds are fully allocated.
